# MCP tools

Server: `https://mcp.mosio.me/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, OAuth or `x-api-key`). The server also sends usage instructions to the client, so Claude knows the flow below without extra prompting.

Only two tools spend credits: `create_video` and `render_composition`. Both are marked destructive, so clients ask before calling them.

## Templates

| Tool | Credits | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `list_templates` | free | Lists templates with their variables and length limits (JSON Schema). |
| `show_templates` | free | Opens a moving gallery in the chat: design styles and templates in the workspace's colours. The user's pick comes back as a chat message. |
| `preview_video` | free | Checks a template and its text and opens a moving preview, with up to three alternative designs. The user can change design, colours, and text, then render from the card. |
| `create_video` | spends | Renders a template video. Returns the video id straight away. |

## Designing a video

| Tool | Credits | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `get_composition_guide` | free | The rules for a composition, available fonts, layout for phone screens, motion advice, the workspace brand kit, and example code for one style. |
| `skill_library` | free | A library of motion-design guides: the official Hyperframes skills and other openly licensed guides (motion design, short-form video structure, kinetic typography, GSAP, copywriting). Index, read a file, or search. |
| `search_registry` | free | Searches the 237 Hyperframes registry components (English keywords). |
| `get_registry_item` | free | One component's HTML and how to use it in a composition. |
| `preview_composition` | free | Checks an HTML composition and opens a moving preview. Problems come back as `invalid_composition` with what to fix. |
| `render_composition` | spends | Renders an HTML composition. Returns the video id straight away. |

## Videos

| Tool | Credits | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `get_status` | free | A video's status and, once done, a download link valid for one hour. |
| `cancel_video` | free | Cancels a queued or rendering video and returns its credits. |

## Prompts

The server also offers three ready-made prompts that appear as commands in clients that support them: `video_promo_produk` (a product promo), `video_menu` (a food or drink menu), and `video_pengumuman` (an announcement).

## Interactive cards

In clients that support MCP Apps (such as Claude), `show_templates`, `preview_video`, `create_video`, `preview_composition`, and `render_composition` open an interactive card in the chat: previews, design and colour choices, render progress, and the finished video. Other clients get the same information as text.
